Reviewing all my digital photos of the year, I realized how much I changed, and how much God had blessed me. When we remember to let Jesus in, our troubles are solved.
Go through the photos and enjoy my overall balance of 2017.
Within this year I:
Worked in the University studio, and by the end of the year a total of 175 graduate students had passed under my apprentice supervision.
Went to Thailand for a short trip with my bestie ❤
Went to Brazil to see my family after over a year of skype calls. Spent my 27th birthday very close with the ones I love.
With some free time, and a heart still in pain and doubt, I had an amazing re-connection with my favorite sport, showjumping. In a few weeks went from scratch to jumping 1 meter high. Had a wisdom tooth removed in between the training. Yes, nothing could stop me.
Step in South Africa, being Africa the 4th continent I ever set feet.
Went back to follow up with the sport highlighted in the city I live, horse racing. And made even more friends, some of the best so far, I dare to say 😀
A visit in Shanghai with the Soft Tennis Club from University of Macau for cultural exchange with some of my finer friends.
Lost count on how many times I been to Shanghai, but in 2017 was the first time I went up the radio tower.
Saw Brazilian soccer team Grêmio win a championship in China, and I had close participation in collecting data for the team head.
Participated in the EU Macau Model 2017 where I gained so much knowledge in practice. One of the best experiences I had in the political sphere.
If it wasn’t enough, I competed in the official half-marathon of Macau. And, while some of my closest friends would tell me I couldn’t stand until the 5th Kilometer, I accomplished the whole course of 21 km with success. Running + walking, took me 2:30h. Super intense, but as well super addictive.
Had one of my besties leaving the country for good, and with that came a complete withdraw from parties.
The last two months of the year were amazing. Met new people and created real and strong relationships, crazy people who like to wake up as early as I: with the roosters, symbol of the year we leave now behind.
Guess Macau is not that bad after all. For more that I complain sometimes, I know that I will miss this land whenever the time comes that I need to leave…
Wishing 2018 be as good as ❤ Simple as.
